10 loungewear basics for your wardrobe

Hallelujah! I found the perfect boyfriend sweatpants and comfy shirts. I’ve included a round up of my 10 favourite pieces from Aritzia for lounging around and running errands, that look cool, effortless and are beyond comfy!

Lounge like you mean it

1. The Classic Boyfriend Sweatpants

These are slim-fit joggers with pockets and a drawstring waistband. They're made from Tna's cozy Classic Fleece fabric.I got a size Medium because I wanted them long and oversized! I also got them in the color Ashen (in picture above).

2. Make it a set

I got the matching sweater in a more fitted version as I wanted a matching set. I wear it all the time, especially in self isolation because ’look good, feel good!’ They also have an oversized version in the same color, but I tend to avoid really baggy tops as my go-to‘s. I ordered a size small and it fits really well, with some room to breathe.

3. My favourite Basic Tee

This is my favourite basic t-shirt, which I purchased a bunch of because I wear it so much! I mostly style it with sweatpants but it‘s also my go-to for layering with blazers for work or wearing with jeans and a cute gold necklace for a casual date night.

4. The Comfiest Cropped Pullover

I am a major fan of a cropped pullover, especially because the majority of my pants have more of a mid to high waist. I love this cropper pullover because it’s not too short of a crop and looks great with all of Aritzia‘s sweatpants.

5. My go-to Cotton Biker Shorts

I fell in love with the colour and length of these shorts. I have always had curves and generally because of that, I find it harder to buy flattering shorts. These don’t suction you in like other activewear shorts, but they are comfy and flattering and seem to do all the right things!

6. The perfect tank top

I found that the 90s Bergman tank was 1 of the few non-cropped tank tops from Aritzia. When I’m lounging, I want to be warm and comfy and this material and length is perfect for that goal. You can definitely size up. I have a medium and small and both fit me, although I’m generally a small when it comes to tops.

7. My favourite joggers to go from lounge—> luxe instantly!

These joggers are great as they are from the Aussie Brand Sunday Best, and Aussies know luxury loungewear! I often wear these to go grocery shopping , run errands or run to the office. They are so versatile.

8. My favourite basic white T, with a twist

You can customize the Sunday Best t-shirt, which I think is adorable. I chose the french fry design because my partner is a fry guy, but I may need to go back and get the avocado or icecream versions too! I love that this is a basic with a twist and wear it all the time. I also sized up to a Medium to get a baggier look to tuck into sweats and jeans.
